22 year old Alex Ward started learning slight of hand magic at the early age of 7 years old, when one christmas he was given a Paul Daniels box set of magic tricks. By the time Alex was 12 years old, his family started to notice he had a talent and a passion for close up magic, it wasn’t long until this passion turned in to an obsession. Alex although obviously a bright boy did not flourish at school, and ultimately was diagnosed with severe dyslexia. Sadly too late to prevent several years of taunting and humiliation dealt out by unknowing teachers and fellow pupils. Alex’s solution was to immerse himself in magic and the Arts.

When Alex was 17 he made the decision that when he left school he wanted to become a professional magician. It was when he was 18 and in his last year at school Alex got his first big break, he was asked to perform at the MTV party in Cannes. Following that, Alex had a succession of high end events, TV and magazine appearances. Alex was asked to perform at Bill Wymans Birthday Party, he was also flown out to New York to perform for the fashion label Marchesa and celebrity weddings.

Alex has performed for such celebrities as, Sienna Miller, Jennifer Lopez, Roger Moore, Mischa Barton, and Paolo Nutini. Alex has also been featured on TV shows such as Richard and Judy, Channel 5 news, Nuts Tv, T4 on the Beach, consulting for Big Brother and going on Big brothers Little brother live show. Alex is also well known amongst magicians, as member of the world famous magic circle and having released two best selling instructional DVD’s “sealed in” and “The Elegy Shift”.
