I started dancing at the age of 3 and trained at the Rosalyn Wicks theatre school up until the age of 16, whilst here appeared as an infant and intermediate in professional panto as well as many other professional productions and dance festivals. At the age of 16 I left home to undertake my first professional dancing contract in Athens. Throughout my career I have been fortunate to dance in many countries, Portugal, Japan and Tunisia to name but a few.
I did however find time to qualify as a dance teacher with the IDTA in all aspects of dance. I have produced and choreographed many professional shows and theatre productions. I retired from travelling abroad in 1995 to start a family, but not for long as I founded an all girl 4 piece singing and dance troupe called “lipstick” as I couldn’t be away from the stage......
This band went from strength to strength working all over the UK and abroad!!! In 2001 due to a change in the line up “Sistermatik” was formed this was a three piece dynamic all girl trio including Debs my lifelong friend.
I am not involved in a new exciting project as a duo with Debs and myself called Lipstick.

I discovered at a very early age that I loved to perform even though I was a very quiet child. I was involved in all of the schools productions including Joseph and Cats to name but a few.
After leaving school however I was unable to fulfil my dreams of a stage career and was forced to take a normal job...
In 1988 however I was spotted singing for a charity event and was asked to do session work, which I enjoyed greatly...this was the turning point and I decided to think of singing as a long term proposition. But along came my family and things had to be put on hold yet again.
But in 2001 my best friend asked me to become a part of “Sistermatik”... to which I replied “YES YES YES” and I have never looked back.
“Sistermatik” worked all over the UK and abroad and were very successful. However the band has recently taken a different format with the departure of the third member and Lipstick was born again!!!
